I’ve decided to handle all support for Rose City Gardens’ WordPress themes in their individual forums, and close the comments for the initial release announcements. I hate to stifle discussion, but it’s getting a bit overwhelming keeping up with comments, email and the forum. While you will have to sign up to post, I swear before all that is holy I will never, EVER, spam you or give your address to spammers.

While I’ll be around for a few years yet, I have a bad liver problem and that means that my energy level is pretty limited. Sometimes I have to leave things for a day or two and catch up when I’m feeling better. I am so sorry to let down the wonderful users who like and download my themes. Be assured that I will be making WordPress themes as long as I can use a keyboard. Whether or not they will be usable is an entirely different story! :D

Well WW, I for one appreciate you efforts. I'm using your Tickled Pink theme for a site I do for the boat club I belong to.

http://www.reefboatclub.ca

I really like the clean, airy look. I hope you're OK with the mods. I'm a guy, so I had to go with a blue look and I'm a graphic designer and enjoy poking and learning, and I had tons of fun with the site and your theme. It is a good fit for the old HTML site and works well with any of the old site pages that I link to.

But Wench, I did find an error in your code…and it's a biggie, not.

I almost left it there for the pleasure of the small link between programmer and user. Maybe it's not an error, maybe it's just there, only you know.

.

That's it, the tiny period after the RSS comments in the footer. I've considered maybe making it a ! for a few months then maybe a > just to confuse anyone anal enough to notice it.

Thanks, Web Wench for a nice theme.

Smile

Amazing! You are one talented fellow, Jon! If you ever want to send any interesting scraps my way please do so! Are you on Deviant Art? If not, you should be – great place with a lot of fresh talent. (A lot of garbage too but what are you gonna do?) One beautiful graphic can be turned into dozens of different beautiful graphics. It's one of my favorite places, and I get most of my stock from there. I myself have no graphics skills, at least not on a professional level, so talent like yours puts me in awe! Smile

Mind? It's GPL, hon – do with it what you will! In fact, I'm going to make a post about the different ways people have used the Garden's themes, and yours will be the first site mentioned.

Thanks so much for this post (and for the heads up on the buggie-bug, will fix).
