New WordPress Theme – Daisy Gray
WordPress 2.7 final has been released, and I’ve upgraded the Gardens! No problems so far, although I haven’t checked all the plugins. Theme Switcher Reloaded doesn’t work as it should, unfortunately, but I’m sure that will be fixed soon.
To celebrate, I’m releasing a new theme – Daisy Gray. It’s a fixed-width (750 pixels), two-column theme with a right sidebar, in white and shades of gray, with a two-level tabbed page menu. As with all the Garden’s themes, Daisy Gray is coded to be very search engine friendly. I just submitted it to WordPress.org today, and it will take a few days to be approved, but if you want it now, just drop me a line either here in comments or at the Contact page.

Great theme, although a bit light for my taste

Hi – I installed your theme, but when I installed a few widgets, the admin link seemed to disappear. Seems it doesn’t stay there automatically – so how does one get to the dashboard? Thanks
Rebecca
I love the theme! I’m using it for my blog atm

Hi Milt – there is a Meta widget that you can use. Look under Widgets. Normally, that widget shows up only on the front page.

Thank you Rebecca! Be sure to stay in touch (subscribe to feed or just keep a look out) – that theme will be updated to take care of a couple of tiny little bugs soon…

Thanks. I’m thinking about using this for my gardening blog.

Hi,
Fairly new to wordpress, liked your theme! Had a little layout problem… The labels on the comments.php page were appearing below the text fields which was a little confusing.
Easily fixed by sticking the labels in the code before the fields.

Oops – sorry about that! I’ll do an update this weekend. Glad you like the theme!
